Eating Space

At the Centre, we believe that it is essential to create a warm, inviting atmosphere so children will enjoy eating in that space. We do this by making mealtimes free of distractions and furnished with child-sized furniture so that your child is as comfortable as possible.

Breastfeeding Space

Part of creating a safe and welcoming space for all means also supporting mothers and parents. We encourage breastfeeding by providing a quiet and comfortable space for mothers to visit and breastfeed their child throughout the day.

At the Centre, we believe that it is essential to create a secure environment, where children can be integrated into a social context. Here are some of the ways we achieve an inclusive space for all:

• → Providing each child with their own cubby
• → Creating and displaying media content that reflects the diversity of our community
• → Displaying children’s artwork and projects (to promote self-identity)
• → Creating learning Centres that promote sharing, problem solving and collaboration
