Ailise I am a 4th year Economics student at McGill. I began volunteering with SSMU Daycare last fall with the Teddy Bear group. I loved their high energy and open minds. This year I am volunteering in the Nursery which is also a fantastic experience. My mother is a Kindergarten teacher so I have been around children all my life. I worked at YMCA Camp Kitchikewana – a sleepover summer camp in Northern Ontario – for two summers with children from the ages of 5 to 13. I have volunteered with the Best Buddies Organization since high school befriending student or adults with special needs. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and can babysit any age. My availability is any night of the week after 7pm and I am free on most weekends. My contact information: 514-944-8911;
Caleb I am a 4th year psychology major. I began volunteering at the daycare with the Teddy Bears this year and love it there. I enjoy working with kids and hope to become a primary school teacher in the future. I have worked with children for the past 5 years. I have been a caretaker at an orphanage, taught grade 2 at a school for children with special needs (both in Fiji), and babysat for friends and family. I have also spent 3 years as a counselor at a summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings. I have worked with children ages 0-16 and am comfortable babysitting any age necessary. I can babysit most nights and weekends (given some notice) and my contact email is

Martine  I am a 4th year undergrad in Anatomy and Molecular Biology. I have been working with the SSMU Daycare for two years, mainly in the Baby Bears Nursery, and now many of the children I first met there are Cuddly Cubs. Coming to the Daycare is often the most rewarding part of my day because I get to witness the metamorphosis of the children, and experience their simple, animated take on life. I am available to babysit in the afternoons after 3pm on Tues, Wed and Thurs and my contact number is 438 881 0049.
